Sniffle

The art of Grotography is a rewarding and enjoyable pursuit, sadly all good things come to an end.
Sob!
Boo Hoo!
Blub!

There it is the Grottee ball. 12 hours to put up, 12 seconds to come down. The remains were recycled.

Christmas Day

Ahhh Christmas Day at last, Revelers soak up the Tin foil wonder land.

Henry and Rose explore the Grottee

Santa's little helpers hand out the pressies

The main event... Just look at that spread... 30 seconds after this pic was taken all the grub was gone, "Bloik" and "Groo" was all that could be heard.

Merry Carol Singers

There was the sound of Angels singing festive songs on our door step, turns out it was Kerstin, Tom and Little Oscar bearing gifts and festive cheer.

Oscar explores the Grottee and spots a present with his name on it in Father Christmas's workshop.

Get ready for Christmas

Claire thought it would be nice to make our own ginger bread tree decorations. The shapes were lovely, sadly Joes ginger bread was not. They never made it as far as the tree, the festive ginger charms were last seen entering the bin. Blarggggh.

Claire made a lovely Wreath for the front door with home baked Oranges and Brandy snaps...(eh?).... oh sorry Cinamon sticks.

.... Open the door a little and... oh, whats this? 300metres of cooking foil, several roles of Sellotape and 12 hours of graft is what it is....

... otherwise known as a Grottee.

Work Starts on the Grottee

These exclusive pictures give a rare glimpse into the construction of a Grottee.

Little is know about exactly what a grottee is made from. The raw materials are hard to come by and extreemly costly

The master craftsman is using an exotic fixaive to hold the components of the Grottee together, no one knows what it is, but it has been heard to refered to as Celowtayp

After just 8 hours the Grottee is starting to taking shape.

Oh Christmas tree oh Christmas tree

Joe rescues Chrismas tree from giant spiders web

Ah... the annual fixing of the Fairy lights. What could be more Christmassy?... Well, the lights worked perfectly straight out the Christmas box, so Joe deliberately bust some for the sake of tradition.

Christmas is coming and Joe is getting fat.

This years advent calendar looks like it might be a good un. The last few have had odd things behind the doors like Men in shorts and Goats.

Joe guess was a sock, Claire guessed a Bauble... It was a Puddin... off to a good start... Hope the next one is not a Sausage.

Joes 'Special ' advent calendar is from Claire's Mum and Claire has added a little present to each one. Joe is a very spoilt Boy
